International Women’s Day was a busy month for WAITS!

On 8 March 2017 WAITS in partnership Crisis Homeless Charity ran a career’s day for our clients. The day involved a Crisis Career coach giving one to one carers advice to our clients.

On 31 March 2017 WAITS resettlement and transition support workers attended an International Women’s day event at Foston Hall Prison. The day was spent raising awareness of WAITS Community Integration Project and networking.

The Project aims to support female offenders affected by domestic abuse to reintegrate into their communities.

WAITS CEO Marcia Lewinson attend the REP Theatre International Women’s Day event and was featured in the Birmingham Post along with Friends of WAITS Chair Uvarlyn Hayles.
