The success of the Policy Forum was reflected in the volume of women signing up for further information and courses. Some of the popular workshops were the Employment/Career and Lifelong Learning Workshop, the Money & Resources Workshop, the Women into Public and Community Life Workshop and the Work/Life Balance Workshop.

Lord Mayors Market Festival
As one of the Lord Mayors chosen Charities, WAITS was invited to hold a stall at the Lord Mayors Market Festival. Alongside WAITS Evergreen also held a stall promoting their services and activities.

Other events that WAITS had taken part in during our year as one of the Lord Mayors Charities includes “Art from the Heart” in association with Evergreen; a group run by Chris Tse – Women’s Support and Development Officer for the Chinese community.
