Birmingham LINk is a network of individuals and community groups, such as charities, user-led organisations, faith groups and residents’ associations, working together to improve health and social care services.
Birmingham LINk has been set up to find out what people think about their services. The LINk then feeds this information back to health and social care providers, helping them to plan and deliver better services that reflect the needs of local people.
LINks were established by an Act of Parliament (Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007) and have specific duties and powers to act which are set out in this document. In addition the Government have published regulations which the LINk must abide by.
“I am looking forward to being an active member of the LINk Strategy Group, supporting the work of LINk working groups and ensuring that Women and BAME voices are heard in of Health and Social Care arena”
