WAITS is a multi-award-winning charity based in Birmingham; we run three key services to support women effected by domestic abuse, homelessness, and offending.

We currently have 2 exciting full time temporary opportunities. We are looking for two Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVA’s). The service aims to empower BAME women by supporting them through domestic abuse and violence into safe accommodation.

The post will be based in the Birmingham Covid safe WAITS office with some working at home as and when required.

Previous experience of directly supporting vulnerable adults and an understanding of the dynamics of domestic and sexual abuse is essential. This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and clearance.

9:00am – 5:00pm, 5 days/week.
Salary £21,000
