International Women’s Day was a busy month for WAITS! On 8 March 2017 in partnership Crisis Homeless Charity we ran a career’s day for our clients. The day involved a Career coach giving one to one carers advice to our clients.

Who is suitable for referral to the DA Service? Any women who has experienced, or is currently experiencing, domestic abuse. Domestic abuse isn’t just being punched or kicked by a partner, there are a range of things that people can do to abuse others.

WAITS was very pleased to Host a visit of The Equalities Committee a new select committee. It was appointed by the House of Commons in June 2015 to hold the Government to account for performance on equalities issues.
