International Women’s Day is always an important event in the calendar of any organisation that supports women. This year, WAITS has had a special reason to celebrate with our #WAITS4Women Campaign and High Tea fundraiser.
During our time in Istanbul we were involved in working with Ismek to examine and test the vocational engagement and training practices used to support women learners back into education and training.
On 5th October 2012 WAITS in conjunction with Neo 2 Soul Promotions, held a fundraising Evening to raise funds for Iona House. WAITS seven bed accommodation for women experiencing Domestic Abuse, Homelessness and Offending.
