Volunteers will work mainly with women from low income and disadvantaged groups who come from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds.

We are a registered charity that offers support for female offenders and victims of domestic abuse. 

We support women to address issues such as welfare benefits, employment and education, isolation, health, fear of crime and more.

WAITS is keen to develop volunteering opportunities around the specific interests of each individual however there is always a need for committed volunteers to assist with the following areas of work:-

Roles Available

Event volunteers – Marketing Editor/ Graphic Designer: contributing to the production of literature for the website, magazine, newsletters and media articles

Counsellors – Qualified with a willingness to commit to long term.
Fundraisers – organising events, Bag packers
