We support women to address issues such as welfare benefits, employment and education, business development, resettlement, domestic abuse, isolation, health, crime and the fear of crime and many more.

A Network of women’s groups, our membership reflects the diverse communities of Birmingham, Sandwell and other parts of the West Midlands.
WAITS has been, and will continue to be, an innovator. We are uniquely placed to provide accessible and responsive services to a variety of hard to reach women.

W.A.I.T.S. Services
W.A.I.T.S works with women’s groups and directly supports women through the following areas:
- Empowering Women – Influencing policies, decisions and service provision locally and nationally
- Women’s Support and Development – supporting, counselling, and training women facing issues such as domestic abuse

- Empowering – We strive to enable women to think of their future and take control of their lives
- Supporting – We provide emotional, practical and peer support for women who face challenges and barriers within their lives
- Progressing – We believe that women need their own time and space to build a secure and sustainable future for themselves
- Holistic – We help in every aspect of their lives, as well as providing a link to trusted agencies who can help them further
