About WAITS Ambassadors

The WAITS Ambassadors provide invaluable fundraising ideas; and then plan, organise and facilitate these ideas to ensure we have the funds to continue to support women in crisis. They are also responsible for a number of exciting events that are planned throughout each year.

If you would like to fundraise to help WAITS to continue to provide support for women who really do need it, then there are a number of ways to help:

1. Join WAITS Ambassadors – We meet regularly to plan, share ideas and plan future events

2. Raise money through your own fundraising events, which could be things such as

• Bake sales at work
• Car boot sales
• Swishing event (you might need to google it!)
• Come dine with me style competitions
• Sponsored event (walk, run or bike ride etc)

3. You could take our Personal50 challenge

• The Personal50 challenge is basically a commitment to raise £50 by by the end of the year for WAITS. You could do it as a group - making it a great way to socialise, or you could do it yourself and see what you can achieve
• We offer support and ideas to help you achieve your fundraising target
• Something good to put on your CV
• Get a sense of reward, achievement and knowing that your money will help us to provide great services to women in need
